The finishing touches to Blood, Sweat & Tears are being done now - the game will be out very soon now.

For Babylon's Burning, we've just added a new battle report featuring a furious shootout between Mob and Cultist factions in the ruined streets of San Francisco.

There are also many interesting Babylon's Burning related house rules and game aids at the BB Yahoo group as well as much post-apocalyptic discussion - check it out.

We are currently investigating the possibility of releasing print versions of Babylon's Burning as well as Blood Sweat & Tears and our other forthcoming games sometime in the near future. The books, if all goes according to plan, will be printed and retailed by one or other of the (US based) companies we're talking with. More details will follow soon.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH, 2004
We now have the cover art for Blood, Sweat & Tears complete - check out the BS&T page for a look - and the game is on track to be released 3-4 weeks from now. We think Jan's done a wonderful job and we'll be using him to illustrate the covers of our other 20th century wargames (Canvas Falcons, Reap the Whirlwind and Troubled Waters - all due out next year).

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, 2004
There is now a Yahoo group devoted to Babylon's Burning. It's a great place to discuss BB, ask any questions and make suggestions for Wastelands and Dust To Dust. Many thanks to Danny Stevenson for setting the group up!

While we're on the subject of Babylon's Burning, it may have been out for a while but the reviews are still coming in. James Culshaw has just written a very positive review of the game for the Miniature Review site and there's another review or two to come - more details when we have them.

On the game development side of things, I'm happy to announce that Tim Cundle (editor of Mass Movement magazine and author of the novel "Compression") will be designing an all-new game for us. The working title is Piledriver and the game will be fast, fun, furious and just a little bit silly. What's the game about? You'll just have to wait and see - we're keeping this one top secret for the moment!

We're now putting the final touches to our Blood, Sweat & Tears WWII game and waiting for the cover art to arrive from acclaimed Czech military artist, Jan Mace.
BS&T will be available as a PDF file from RPG Now for just $9.99 - more details to follow soon.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH, 2004
We are pleased to announce that our Babylon's Burning game is now available as part of the Games Cartel Vol. 1 package.
This is a collection of six publications from four different publishers (Alternate Realities, Politically Incorrect Games, 93 Games Studio and, of course, Hetzerdog Industries) and contains a wargame, three complete roleplaying games, a firearms sourcebook and a set of cardstock modern vehicle models for use in 28mm miniatures games.
Games Cartel Vol. 1 costs just $30 (a $10 saving on the cost of these items bought individually) and is available exclusively from RPGNow - the best place on the web for ePublished game materials. Go to the RPG Now page to find out more.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2004
The big news this time around is that we now stock a range of 28mm plastic Orcs and Dwarves (the ones that Grenadier UK used to provide with their boxed fantasy miniatures game). These are really nice miniatures and at just 1.50 for ten you can't complain about the pricing either!

We've also had a recent re-stock so all the bases are now available again.

Over the next couple of months we'll be adding some more plastic miniatures - 28mm sci-fi, multi-pose mechs and small scale spaceships - and some other goodies are also planned.

The electronic download edition of the Babylon's Burning game has surpassed all our expectations so you can definately expect to see more ePublishing projects from us in the near future including some resources intended for other games publishers and one or two as yet "top secret" games being worked on by out-of-house freelancers.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25TH, 2004
We are pleased to announce that our Babylon's Burning game is now available for just US$9.99 as an electronic download from the nice people at RPG Now. That's just 5.55 at the time of writing!

In the future, all of our releases will be made available in this format as well as on CD-rom. Furthermore, a printed book version of Babylon's Burning will soon be available for the first time - we'll confirm the price and release date just as soon as we have them.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 21ST, 2004
There's a new review of the Babylon's Burning game at Wargames Forum - you can find a link on our Babylon's Burning game page - check it out!

We've been running short on some types of bases and dice for a couple of weeks now but, fear not, more are on the way as well as some new stuff we haven't sold before. Details coming soon.

We'll also be giving the various game pages on the site an overhaul shortly as well as, hopefully, announcing some interesting new developments...

Finally, we're currently clearing some old stock and various other odds and ends on eBay at reduced prices. If you're an eBayer, just do a search for us - the seller name is hetzerdog.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 5TH, 2004
The review of Babylon's Burning in the French wargames magazine Ravage has now been added to the BB game page. We're assured that our review on Wargames Forum will be up soon.

MONDAY, AUGUST 2ND, 2004
Those of you who frequent our Odds & Ends page will have noticed that the number of GW novels we have available is steadily shrinking. Many of those we have left, we only have in limited numbers so if you want cheap sci-fi and fantasy novels with Warhammer settings, place your orders soon!

Blood, Sweat & Tears (our 6-12mm WWII game) is steadily inching towards completion and should be out before too long. We'll give the BS&T page on this site an overhaul soon and provide more details about the game and maybe some photos of games in progress (the same goes for the Canvas Falcons page, now that I come to think of it).

I can now announce that we have another WWII game on the way too! This one is an as yet untitled naval game. We're designing it with 1/6000 scale ships in mind (such as those made by Hallmark Figures) but it will be possible to play it in the 1/3000 scale too. The rules are already nearing completion and we're about half way through researching the ship and aircraft statistics.
There's no release date yet but we hope to have it out this year. A page devoted to this game will be added to the site just as soon as we think up a name for it...

Babylon's Burning fans should not be concerned that we've forgotten about them - what with all this historical stuff we're working on - more free BB stuff is on the way.

FRIDAY, JULY 2ND, 2004
We've just added two new rules expansions to the Babylon's Burning game page. Both are in PDF format for ease of reading and downloading.

First up is Going Underground! which provides rules and full-colour counters for moving through and fighting in Ghoul tunnels.
The second piece is Cycle of Violence which introduces bikes to the world of BB - just the thing to compliment those skater gangs!

More free BB stuff is coming soon including campaign rules, modelling articles, scenarios and new rules covering feral animals, advanced melee combat and child soldiers.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30TH, 2004
We've been busy adding new stuff to the Babylon's Burning page. You'll now find preview images of the game, a link to our review in the Wargames Directory and photos of Steve Crofts' Babylon's Burning Land Rover conversion project.
We'll be adding more BB stuff soon - scenarios, optional rules and modelling articles.

On an entirely different note, our Blood, Sweat & Tears 6-12mm WWII game seems to be going down well with our international cabal of playtesters and, since we've almost finished writing up the army lists, it looks as though we may well get this game out ahead of schedule (which will make a nice change!). Between the rules, the vehicle and gun data and the army lists, the finished game is likely to run to about 100 pages and will cost just 3.50! Expect to see BS&T available to buy late this summer.
Once the game is released, we'll be supporting it with lots of free updates including data and lists for minor combatants and scenarios.

After BS&T, our next release is likely to be Reap the Whirlwind - a 28mm WWII skirmish game based on the Babylon's Burning game mechanics developed by Olaf Meys. We'll be giving RtW its own page soon where you'll be able to find out more details. We don't have a precise idea of when RtW will be released yet but it should definately be in 2004 and, as with BS&T, the price will be just 3.50.

FRIDAY, JUNE 25TH, 2004
New in stock is the eagerly anticipated Thrud No. 3 comic and if you enjoyed issues 1 and 2, you're going to love number 3.
Thrud's creator, Carl Critchlow, assures us that Thrud No. 4 won't take quite so long to finish - let's hope he's right!

On the Babylon's Burning miniatures page you'll find a whole host of new photos of painted miniatures as well as some new photos of the most recent releases.
When you've had a look at those, head over to the Babylon's Burning game page where we've just added a section for free scenarios, modelling articles, additional rules, game reports and the like.
The first items will be a scenario and tunnel fighting rules for Ghouls by Mark Eatherington and a look at Steve Crofts' BB Land Rover conversion.
You'll also find a link to Lone Wolf Development's Army Builder website - the Army Builder software now has a Babylon's Burning module making it easier than ever to put BB forces together.
Currently the BB module covers generic forces but Sebastian Rogers (who created the module - thanks Sebastian!) tells us he will be adding faction specific files on a monthly basis, starting with Cultie forces.

More Babylon's Burning freebies will be up on the site soon as well as more details of some of our forthcoming games.

Oh, and while it hasn't got anything to do with Hetzerdog, if you're a collector of golden age Citadel miniatures, check out www.realmsofraistlin.de for trades and some lovely photos of painted miniatures.

WENESDAY, APRIL 21ST, 2004
The Babylon's Burning game has finally arrived from the manufacturer and is now available to buy!
Amazon will be selling the game on their stand at Salute this coming weekend and pre-ordered copies are now being sent out.

Don't forget that the game comes with a free limited edition miniature and that you get the game free with any purchase of five or more Babylon's Burning miniatures packs.

We'll be adding some extras for BB players to this site over the next few weeks and months including modelling and terrain articles, scenarios, battle reports, photos and more.

We'll also be setting up a BB Yahoo group in due course.
Talking of Yahoo groups, our "Blood, Sweat & Tears" 6mm WWII game now has its own group at https://www.games.groups.yahoo.com/group/BSandT/.
The group is currently only open to playtesters but we're looking for more testers - contact us for details on how to become a playtester.

Also new this week, we now stock 40mm round bases - see our dice and bases page for details. The 20mm round bases and average dice are now back in stock.
We also got a very nice review from the guys at Wargames Forum this week. Pop over to www.wargames.co.uk to read the review and see some very nicely painted BB miniatures.

Coming soon to hetzerdog.com -
Plastic Mechs (perfect for Battletech) at just 2.50 for 5.
Plastic spaceships (great for any space combat game) at just 2.50 for 12.
New Babylon's Burning miniatures.

TUESDAY, MARCH 16TH, 2004
We've just added photos of painted miniatures to the Babylon's Burning miniatures and Limited Edition miniatures pages.

FRIDAY, MARCH 12TH, 2004
Hetzerdog games and miniatures will be on display at a couple of conventions over the next few months. The Manchester Area Wargames Society will be using our Babylon's Burning miniatures for their post-apocalyptic trailer park game at Salute in London, and the Canvas Falcons and DBTS: Wolves of the North games will be debuting at KublaCon in the USA courtesy of the South Bay Gaming Club.

At most UK and some European conventions, you can now buy Hetzerdog products from the Amazon stand.

Two of the games we have in development now have their own Yahoo groups -
https://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/canvasfalcons/
and
https://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/ReaptheWhirlwind/

Both groups are currently open to playtesters only (if you're a playtester for one of these games and haven't joined up yet just email the respective group owner to request access) but will be made available to the general public subsequently.
We'll set up some more Yahoo groups for other games over the coming months.

The greens for the next three Babylon's Burning packs have arrived and they're looking very nice indeed. The packs are -
BB09 Citizen Militia Heavy Weapons
BB10 Weapons & Accessories 1
BB11 Weapons & Accessories 2

The weapon packs each contain 30 items and can be used to convert any modern or near future miniatures or as extra detailing for bases and scenery.

Tony Aldrich is currently working on the next two Babylon's Burning packs (BB12 Cultist Templars and BB13 Robed Cultists Pack 2) and they're due for release in April.

We've finally got the cover of the Babylon's Burning game sorted out and it will be at the printers about a week from now and in stock by the end of the month.
All those who have taken advantage of our "buy 5 packs of miniatures and get the rules free" offer and those who have pre-ordered the rules don't have long to wait now!

We've sold off hundreds of items through eBay in our big odds & ends sale but we've still got more to come (mostly GW stuff) so keep an eye out for us - the seller name is hetzerdog.

Coming soon to hetzerdog.com:

More photos (including many of painted miniatures) on the Babylon's Burning miniatures page.

A full list of Hetzerdog retailers.

A Canvas Falcons game page.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH, 2004
We've got a couple more Babylon's Burning packs out this month (BB07 Ghould Kids and BB08 Scav Officers, Runners & Sniper). You can see preview photos on the Babylon's Burning miniatures page.

Three more BB packs will be here soon (two weapon and accessory packs and one pack of Citizen Militia Heavy Weapons).

We'll have details of more forthcoming packs (28mm Babylon's Burning range, 28mm Irish Rebellion range and 1/144th Canvas Falcons range) soon.

The Canvas Falcons WWI air combat game is now being tested across three continents and the first reports are very promising! CF should be available to buy in the spring of this year.

Lastly, we're having a clear-out of old stock this month. Lots including miniatures from i-Kore, Foundry, TSR and eM-4, Warhammer Ancients books, GW novels and some roleplaying bits and pieces will be up on eBay soon so keep an eye out for bargains!

FRIDAY, JANUARY 23RD, 2004
At last! All of the overdue Babylon's Burning packs are now in stock - we've ironed out a lot of teething troubles and production should be a lot smoother (and quicker!) from now on. You can see photos of packs 1-6 (and order them should you feel so inclined) on the Babylon's Burning miniatures page.

The BB08 pack (Scav Officers, Runners & Sniper) should be in stock by the end of January. We're re-doing a couple of the figures in the BB07 pack (Ghoul Kids) and so that will be here about a week later.

BB09-BB11 are all on course to be with us by the end of February. See the Babylon's Burning miniatures page for more information.

Another recent arrival is the first of our strictly limited edition 28mm miniatures - Winston Churchill with Tommy Gun (inspired by the famous photo). The miniature will be given away free to anybody spending 20 or more (excluding shipping). See the new limited editions page for a photo.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been in touch with us with suggestions and comments for our forthcoming Canvas Falcons range - some of the suggested aircraft will definitely be added to the release schedule.
With luck, the first prototype models will be finished late this month (a Sopwith F.1 Camel and a Fokker DR.I). We'll put some photos up as soon as we have them.

MONDAY, JANUARY 12TH, 2004
We have now added a (very) provisional list of the WWI fighter planes we intend to release over the next 24 months or so in our 1/144th scale Canvas Falcons range. Comments on the range (including any planes you'd particularly like to see added) are welcome - just email [email protected].

MONDAY, JANUARY 5TH, 2004
Happy New Year!

Issue 1 of Thrud the Barbarian has been reprinted and is now back in stock - see the Thrud page for details. Issue 3 is due to be released early this year.

We have added even more new and unused cut-price Warhammer novels to the Odds & Ends page.

We are also happy to announce that we will be working with an additional sculptor this year. Ian Jones will be working on a range of 1/144th scale WWI aircraft that we will be releasing later this year. We'll be working on a set of quick-play WWI dog fighting rules to accompany the range that we also hope to release this year.
The Canvas Falcons range will replace the pirate ship range that we had planned to release this year - that range may still be released at a future date if we can fit it in the schedule.

We plan to add a third sculptor to our line-up by the summer - we'll have more details nearer the time.

We have added a new order form for those who wish to make purchases with cheques or postal orders. The form can be found on the how to order page.

Finally, our website went down for a couple of days towards the end of December 2003 - apologies for any inconvenience caused.
