MONDAY, DECEMBER 15TH, 2003
It seems our caster has recovered and we are happy to announce that we will have the Babylon's Burning miniatures in stock on friday the 19th - sorry for the delay - and we'll send out all the pre-orders on saturday the 20th.

We've just added a large number of Games Workshop novels to the Odds & Ends section. These are new and unused and we're selling them at £3.00 less than the recommended retail price!

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11TH, 2003
Some good news and some bad news...

The good news is that we now have a shopping cart system in place for your convenience - it should be up and running by the time you read this.

The bad news is that the release of our Babylon's Burning miniatures has been delayed by an outbreak of flu at our caster's. They'll still be available this month but a week or two later than planned. If you pre-order now, we'll send them out as soon as they arrive.

Don't forget to check out this month's Valkyrie Quarterly magazine (available from all good game shops or from Caliver Press) - they were kind enough to give space to a two page preview of the Babylon's Burning game.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, 2003
The first six packs of Babylon's Burning miniatures will be available for sale from the 8th of December, 2003. See the Babylon's Burning miniatures page for more info and photos.

We now have five more BB packs confirmed for release in January and February of 2004.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH, 2003
We have some good Thrud news and some bad Thrud news. The good news is that Issue 1 (which has been out of print for some time) is now going to be re-printed and will thus be back in stock soon.
The bad news is that Issue 3 has had to be postponed to make way for said re-print and so will not be making an appearance until next year.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25TH, 2003
The first six packs of Babylon's Burning miniatures have now been cast up and will be on sale as soon as the backing cards come back from the printers. Photos of the first three packs can now be seen on the Babylon's Burning miniatures page and pre-orders are welcome!

We just got in new supplies of dice and bases including several items we haven't stocked before including 'average' D6 and a full selection of opaque polydice (D4, D6, D8, D10, D%, D12 and D20).

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH, 2003
It's all change here at Hetzerdog.com. In the name of saving space and making time in which to concentrate on our own games and miniatures, we have decided to drop most of the lines we previously carried - Foundry, Warhammer Ancients, I-Kore and eM-4 are all now gone from our inventory. Some of them may return at a later date when we have more space but it won't be any time soon.

Just to be contrary, however, we have now expanded the selection of gaming accessories - we offer a wide selection of dice - and we'll have the new issue of Thrud as soon as it's out.

The first six Babylon's Burning packs are now completed and we're just waiting for them to come back from the caster after innumerable delays at their end. As soon as they're here, we'll photograph them and make them available here - feel free to pre-order if you can't wait that long!

The first of our limited edition miniatures (no, I'm not going to let on as to what it is yet!) is also now sculpted and should be available from December - you'll get one free with every order over £20.00. We're only going to cast 1000 of these - when we run out we'll release a different limited edition.
While we're on the subject of freebies, remember that you get the Babylon's Burning rules free if you order any 5 packs of Babylon's Burning miniatures. The rules normally retail for £7.50 and come with an absolutely fantastic miniature (if we do say so ourselves) so this really is a great deal.

We have also changed our shipping rates in your favour. Now there's something you don't hear every day! Our new p&p rate is just 10% regardless of where you are in the world. That's 10% for airmail to anywhere in the world folks.

One final thing - apologies for the slow updates to the website recently. Our web monkey (yes, that is his official job description) is off sick so please be patient with us!

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH, 2003
The first four packs of Babylon's Burning miniatures have now been sculpted and the fifth and sixth packs are almost finished too. Although these miniatures won't be available to retailers until December, we'll make them available here as they come in from the casters.

The BB01 Citizen Militia, BB02 Rollerskate Gangers and BB03 Ghouls packs should be cast up by next week. It will take us a few days to get them photographed but you can expect them to be available for sale by the second week in November.
The BB04 Scavs pack will follow about a week later and the BB05 Robed Cultists and BB06 Enclave Medics & Casualties packs will be in stock by December.

If you want us to reserve packs for you, just contact us and let us know.

For more information, see the Babylon's Burning miniatures page.

More news coming soon!

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2003
As you can probably tell, we're in the process of rebuilding this website. The main change is that the two sides of our website (the HTC mail order side and the HDC game and miniature design side) have been merged into one.
We're also re-organising our mail order activities so that we can provide the best possible service in 2004 and beyond.

You'll also notice a few new pages - most notably the Babylon's Burning miniatures page.

The Babylon's Burning rules and the first six packs of Babylon's Burning miniatures will be released in December and we'll be adding new releases every month thereafter.
For the first few months after we launch the range, we'll have a special offer whereby anybody ordering 5 packs BB miniatures will get the rules free of charge (a saving of £7.50).

Retailers interested in selling Hetzerdog games and miniatures should see the new Trade Enquiries page.

Valkyrie magazine - Europes biggest and best independent fantasy and sci-fi games magazine - will be running a preview of Babylon's Burning in their next issue (out in a week or two).

There's a new issue of Thrud on the way - as always, it's impossible to give an exact date when it will be available but it should be here within a few weeks (pre-orders are welcome).

We sold out of the new WAB Alexander the Great book in days but we have more on the way.

There have been lots of new Xyston releases recently - we've got them in stock and we're updating the Xyston pages this week with all the new packs and boxed sets.

Wargames Foundry tell us that they have not decided on their new prices and may not increase them at all. In the meantime, we will continue to order Foundry items but will not be keeping them in stock again until next spring.

Similarly, most of the eM-4 items we carry will be unavailable until January or February (when we will be having a major re-stock and will be stocking the whole eM-4 inventory in depth).

So what's in the future for Hetzerdog.com? We'll be concentrating on three things in 2004:
1) Expanding the Babylon's Burning range and producing new BB material to appear on this site, in magazines such as Valkyrie and Wargames Illustrated and in the forthcoming Wastelands book.
2) Expanding our mail order activities - we'll be stocking everything in as much depth as possible and expanding the number of suppliers we carry (expect to see Mithril Miniatures, Vallejo paints, Heresy Miniatures and Renegade Miniatures in the first half of the year).
3) Working towards the release of the first Die By The Sword games and the accompanying ranges of miniatures. Other games (e.g. Blood, Sweat & Tears) and miniatures (e.g. our Irish Rebellion range) will be released as and when we find the time to spare!

Anyone with questions about our recent changes or our plans for next year should feel free to contact us.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 26TH, 2003
We have many new Xyston 15mm ancients packs in stock now (we'll be updating the Xyston page with the new pack photos and details over the next few days) and we'll have more new Xyston packs next month.

The WAB Alexander the Great book appears to have been delayed - we will stock it when it becomes available though.

Foundry will soon be raising their prices. We don't yet know what the new pack price will be and it is not yet clear how we'll be affected. We will have a choice of raising our own prices to cover the rise or ceasing to sell Foundry miniatures altogether and adopting new suppliers instead.
No decision has yet been taken and we'll leave details here as soon as we know what's what.

The big news this month, however, is that we are going to be producing our own range of 28mm miniatures.
Sculptor Tony Aldrich will be working on a Babylon's Burning range to support our forthcoming post-apocalyptic skirmish game of the same name and we plan to have six packs in production by the end of the year.
We'll also be providing a free miniature with every copy of the BB rules.

We'll be previewing some of these new miniatures as they are finished. Keep an eye out here for details.

Finally, you may notice some major changes to this site over the next few weeks and months - we're going to combine the Hetzerdog Trading Co. (this page), the Hetzerdog Development Co. (our game design page) and Hetzerdog Miniatures into one site and generally tidy things up and do some re-organising in the process.
We'll also be re-launching the Hetzerdog Mailing List newsletter to co-incide with the launch of the Babylon's Burning game and miniatures.

FRIDAY, MAY 30TH, 2003
The new WAB El Cid supplement (and limited edition figures!) are now in stock - see the WAB page. The next WAB book (Alexander the Great) should be available late this summer.

THURSDAY, MAY 23RD, 2003
From next week we will have the new Warhammer Ancient Battles supplement El Cid in stock - and we'll also have fantastic Copplestone Castings limited edition El Cid miniatures to go with them! Pre-orders are, as always, welcome.

We'll be restocking our Xyston 15mm ancients range next month - and that means we'll be adding all the new packs that have come out since we last ordered from i-Kore Miniatures (including the first few Persian packs and the new boxed starter armies).
Talking of Xyston, don't forget that we have a large number of free single-figure samples available. You can have one with any order (or any eBay win) - all you have to do is ask!

Just in this morning are a large selection of unused out of print Starwars Roleplaying Game and Starwars Miniatures Battles books - we may be getting more of these in but it's not definite so get them while you can.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16TH, 2003
We have just got two huge shipments in. The first is an enormous lot of 20 year old TSR miniatures. These official AD&D, Boot Hill, Gamma World, Gangbusters and Star Frontiers blister packs and boxed sets have been sat in a warehouse since about 1983 and are all still sealed and in mint condition. The second shipment is a large selection of GDW boardgames and roleplaying games and supplements. These have also been sat in a warehouse for quite some time (since GDW went out of business in the late '90s I presume) and again they're all mint. The roleplaying books and supplements are from the Space 1889, Dark Conspiracy, 2300AD, Traveller TNE and Megatraveller lines whilst the boardgames cover various historical periods. There's also a copy or two of the Command Decision wargame around here somewhere... For more information and prices, see the Odds & Ends page.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9TH, 2003
Our first consignment from i-Kore Miniatures is now here. We've got limited numbers of 28mm Celtos and Void packs available while we establish just how much demand there is for those lines and we have a huge quantity of Xyston 15mm ancients. These are by far the best 15mm miniatures on the market and you really should check them out. We also now carry the 1:600th scale Xyston ancient naval range. Naturally, all of these miniatures are offered at a considerable discount (see the i-Kore page for more details).

We have a large number of FREE I-KORE XYSTON SAMPLES so that you can see just how good these miniatures are. As long as stocks last, we'll add in a free sample with any purchase either through this site or on eBay - all you have to do is ask and we'll add one in with your order!

The delay in getting the i-Kore order in has meant that the arrival of our first Mithril Miniatures order has also had to be delayed but, fear not, they will be available soon.

Talking of new ranges - we have now confirmed that we will definitely be stocking the excellent Copplestone Castings miniatures in the next month or two. We'll be starting with the near-future / sci-fi stuff and adding the historical and fantasy lines over the coming months and, again, these will be heavily discounted.

Heresy, Rafm, Shadowforge and Coat D'Arms products will be stocked as soon as time, space and money allow.

Our eM-4 stock has been flying off the shelves so it shouldn't be too long before that's due for re-stocking - check out the eM-4 pages to see the full range of stuff we now sell from this manufacturer.

Work on our Babylon's Burning game is drawing slowly to its conclusion and it should be available to buy in a couple of months - check out the BB page for some cool sample art, photos and text.

Finally, I'm sad to report that Thrud issue #1 is now out of print. Luckily for you, we still have limited numbers left in stock but once they're gone, they're gone for good.

TUESDAY, MARCH 25TH, 2003
Our first consignment of Void, Celtos and Xyston miniatures is running a week or two late but we're assured they will be with us within the week.

Those of you awaiting the arrival of all the TSR miniatures we're expecting will have to wait a while longer I'm afraid - they're still somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic at present but they're due to arrive any time from now (I wouldn't dare be any more specific than that when US postal services are involved!).

Our March Foundry re-stock will be here on the 27th and all Foundry orders will be shipped within a day or two of that.

Also due in this coming weekend is our March eM-4 Miniatures re-stock (including some nice new sets) and, again, all outstanding orders will be satisfied within 48 hours of us recieving the goods. We'll update the eM-4 pages around about the same time.

Talking of eM-4, they have some lovely stuff due for release over the coming year (the old Grenadier UK fantasy packs and some more pre-painted sets) so expect to see us expanding the range of eM-4 stuff we stock as new bits and bobs become available.

Finally, there's a possibility - nothing concrete yet - that we may soon be stocking the fantastic Copplestone Castings 28mm miniatures. These cover both historical (Darkest Africa and early 20th century) and fantasy and near-future themes and, as anyone who's seen Mark Copplestone's previous work for Grenadier UK and Foundry can confirm, the quality is superb.

FRIDAY, MARCH 7TH, 2003
Great news this week - we've arranged to take on a new supplier: Mithril Miniatures. Mithril make a huge range of official Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit miniatures including some stunning boxed sets and vignettes. We won't have these in stock for a month or so yet as we're still waiting for our i-Kore stuff to arrive and don't want to do too much work on the site all at once but if there's Mithril stuff you're after, feel free to pre-order. As always, these miniatures will be offered at a discount though the exact level hasn't been decided yet. Unfortunately, this will mean putting off the arrival of miniatures from Rafm and Shadowforge (again...). We do still intend to stock those companies miniatures but at the moment it's a lot easier for us to source our stock closer to home and avoid long waits for delivery, expensive shipping and import duties.

On the game design front, we have just added some preview photos and fiction to the Babylon's Burning page - we'll add some preview art and maybe more photos and fiction shortly.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH, 2003
Our next Foundry order will be placed in the second half of March - see the Foundry Orders Page for details on how to order.

Also, we will be stocking i-Kore's excellent Xyston 15mm Ancients (and 1/600th scale Ancient ships) in addition to the Celtos and Void ranges we announced a few weeks back. We'll update the site with new i-Kore pages over the next couple of weeks so check back soon.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH, 2003
We are currently offering scores of beautiful 28mm Reaper fantasy miniatures on eBay at discount prices - be sure to check them out quickly as they are fixed price lots and they're priced to sell.
Also, we've just heard from i-Kore and they tell us that our first lot of Void and Celtos miniatures, catalogues and rulebooks will be here in approximately two weeks time.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH, 2003
We have just arranged to buy in a huge number of TSR miniatures (blisters and boxed sets) and out of print GDW games from Trident Games in the USA. They're coming over by surface shipping so it'll be a while until they're here but I'm sure they'll be well worth waiting for. We'll be selling them off both through the site and via eBay - keep an eye on this news page for details.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH, 2003
We're nearly out of Thrud comics (both issues) but there are more on the way - we're just waiting for the printers to run off more copies. Hopefully we have enough to see us through until the new ones arrive but please be patient if they don't!

We're expecting a large selection of Reaper miniatures later this week - check out the odds & ends section in a week or so for prices, photos and details.

The big news this week, however, is that we will shortly be stocking i-Kore miniatures. i-Kore make great 28mm Void (sci-fi) and Celtos (fantasy) miniatures as well as a growing range of 15mm ancients, paints and modelling supplies. As with Foundry, we'll keep a representative selection in stock and offer an ordering service so that you can buy any other i-Kore miniatures you want through us. The other similarity with our Foundry ranges is that we'll be offering all packs at a discount on the recommended retail prices! The new miniatures should be with us by the end of this month.

Work on our own line of wargames and roleplaying games continues - the rules for Babylon's Burning are now finished and we're just waiting for all the artwork and background fiction to be finished. The game will be released on CD-rom to keep the costs down and the price (including shipping) will be just £4.50 (UK), £4.95 (Europe), £5.25 (USA and Canada) or £5.50 (rest of the world). We're hoping to have the game out this spring.

MONDAY, JANUARY 27TH, 2003
Hurrah! Thrud No. 2 has arrived and is available now for just £1.95. I've just finished reading it and it was well worth the wait! If you have pre-ordered a copy we'll be in touch in the next day or two - everyone else, head over to the Thrud page for more details.

We have more RPG novels in as well as some more Chronopia supplements - we had a bunch of these in last year and they sold out very quickly. We also have a huge amount of RPGs and supplements up on eBay right now so if roleplaying is your thing, check out our listings via our eBay auctions page.

There's lots going on here right now so we'll have more news for you soon.

MONDAY, JANUARY 13TH, 2003
We've all been busy putting the finishing touches to our Babylon's Burning wargame - we're just waiting for some background fiction, photos and artwork now so it should be available to download in a couple of months. It's taken longer to get right than we expected but we're pretty pleased with the results and if you have any interest in near-future wargames it'll be well worth a look. Once we get Babylon's Burning out of the way, we'll be kept busy with an as-yet untitled vehicle and wastelands supplement, Dust to Dust (a roleplaying game with the the same background setting as Babylon's Burning) and the long promised Die By The Sword skirmish system.

We've got cheap Harlequin / Black Tree and Reaper miniatures in the Odds & Ends section - well worth a look. They're in limited numbers so don't wait too long!

We're still waiting for the release of Thrud #2 - yeah, I know, it was supposed to be out in November but we're at the mercy of the printers... It's allegedly due out this month (just don't be suprised if it's not).

Our January re-stock from Foundry is on schedule - the next re-stock will probably be late February or early March. In addition to our usual re-stocked items and customer orders, we'll also be adding the new Great Orc boxed sets.

Those of you who have been shopping with us for a while now will have noticed that we haven't expanded quite as quickly as we had originally hoped. This is because much of the investment we were originally counting on fell through. However, we are now starting to find new investors and we will ultimately be expanding our current ranges and adding much more from Heresy, Mithril, Rafm, Shadowforge, Coat D'Arms and various other companies. Thanks for your patience thus far - and remember: we're doing OK considering Hetzerdog was originally launched with the grand sum of £14.50!

SUNDAY, JANUARY 12TH, 2003
We've removed the currency converter for the moment because it wasn't updating properly - we're aiming have to it up & running again very soon, but if you need one in the meantime we recommend this one.
